This is a brief overview to aid any First Time Attendees and give you a better understanding of what will occur during the Leadership/Trustee Meeting in Louisville, KY.

Registration is open at this time

As you check in at the Brown Hotel ask for your information packet while at the front desk.

Familiarize yourself with the basic layout of the meeting rooms, find out where the trustees meeting, committee meetings, banquets, etc. will be held. Maps of the hotel and meeting schedules will be found in your packet information.  If you’re staying at another hotel, you are still to pick your packet at the Brown Hotel’s front desk.

During the trustee meeting if you are a trustee or alternate trustee you are to sit in the center area with dark table cloths.

Make plans to attend the "First Time Attendees Tour" scheduled for Friday afternoon (see schedule).  This is an opportunity to see SAR Headquarters and Research Library and also a chance to ask any questions you may still have.  Some of the National SAR staff members will be there, others may be in the various committee meetings.

Basic schedule:

Thursday:  the Executive Committee and the SAR Foundation Board meet; there may be additional committee meetings on Thursday schedule by the Chairman.

Friday:  the National Committees meet during this day.  A detailed schedule can be found on the appropriate menu option.  Friday also has the First Time Attendees Tour of Headquarters.

Saturday:  the Executive Committee meets again and the National Trustees Meeting quickly follows.  During this meeting the various committee reports are given and any items requiring action are discussed.

If you would like to serve on a committee, please discuss it with the Chairman before or after their meeting.
