SAR Officers

Chaplain General

Chaplain General Reverend David J. Felts (Pennsylvania)

The Chaplain General shall be a regularly ordained minister, and shall
open and close meetings of the National Society with such services as
are usual and proper on such occasions. The annual Memorial Service
shall be planned in consultation with the Chaplain General. He also
advises, assists, and ministers to the spiritual needs of SAR members.

Reverend Felts is a member of the General Anthony Wayne Chapter, Pennsylvania SAR.  He has served as their Chaplain for several years and also served the Pennsylvania Society as Chaplain.  Rev. Felts has been involved at the National level for a number of years attending District and National Leadership meetings, along with annual Congress meetings.

He has served at Campbell Memorial U P Church and Florence Presbyterian Church.  Rev. Felts has served as the Chaplain for the Beaver Falls Volunteer Fire Department, taught College Theology and Greek exegesis classes and led various Community Bible studies.
